On-screen you can see Aba in CBC’s award-winning This Hour Has 22 Minutes - as the youngest cast member ever! She is a part of Toronto’s sketch comedy ensemble The Sketchersons as well as the Untitled Black Sketch Project. Aba co-hosts a very funny pop culture podcast called Nostalgique and is a published playwright. This winter, catch her hosting CBC’s Best in Miniature, where contestants will be asked to build their dream homes in miniature form.

In today’s episode, Amanda sits down over some Sauvignon Blanc by Oyster Bay with actor, editor, filmmaker Perrie Voss (Avocado Toast, Letters to Satan Claus, The Boys) to discuss creating the series Avocado Toast, what it was like coming out later in life, and a LOT about #Boundaries. From acting to editing screenwriting, Perrie is a multi-award winning artist who wears many hats. You can see her acting on-screen in Season 2 of The Boys, as Cookie Winters in Letters to Satan Claus, and in the award-winning Avocado Toast the series, which she co-created alongside Heidi Lynch and is now available to stream on OUTtvGo. Perrie is currently working on Season 2 of Avocado Toast as well as developing a new series called Stories from my Gay Grandparents alongside co-creator Scott Farley, directed by Emma Sutherland.

In today’s episode, Amanda sits down over some triple chocolate milk stout by Flying Monkeys with actor, writer, and wannabe astronaut Nkasi Ogbonnah (The Second City, Untitled Black Sketch Project, 1623) to discuss the best long-lasting lipsticks, what a gift it is to safely hold an audience in uncomfortable moments, and (of course) space! Nkasi is a Second City mainstage alumni and a member of the 2020 Sketch Comedy Project Fund recipient Untitled Black Sketch, Canada’s first all-Black sketch ensemble. She is also a member of the Toronto Fringe Festival’s Woke N’ Broke, which won Best Ensemble from NOW Magazine and a member of 1623, a history-based sketch troupe alongside Kat Lewin. Nkasi (not so) secretly dreams of becoming an astronaut - so if anyone knows someone at the Canadian Space Agency, let’s make Nkasi’s dreams come true and send her to space!!

She is the former face of the KindaTV network, and the co-creator and star of NYC Web Fest award-winning comedy CLAIREvoyant alongside Annie Briggs. Off-stage Alia works at Bespoke Cultural Collective and is the current project lead for Our Cities on Our Stages, Bad Dog Theatre’s annual inclusion and diversity symposium.
